Launching Nokron.dev
Today I'm launching Nokron.dev, the official documentation for the Nokron framework.
I'm very excited to finally launch this website with the official documentation for Nokron. I've been working on Nokron for quite some time, and I'm very happy to finally be able to share it with the world. I hope you enjoy it!
What is Nokron?
Nokron is a Typescript framework for building web applications. It is built on top of Express and is designed to replicate the architecture of ASP.NET. It utilizes the power of Typescript to provide a very flexible and scalable architecture for building web applications and APIs. The main focus of Nokron is to create the applications using common web patterns, such as Model View Controller (MVC).
Why Nokron?
I've been working with ASP.NET for quite a few projects throughout my education and career, and I've always loved the architecture and the way it's built. And after having to build a few web applications with Express, it was really clear to me that there was a lot of room for improvement.
The minimalistic approach of Express is great, but it's also very limiting and not very scalable. I wanted to build something that was easy to use for Node.js projects, but also very flexible and scalable. So I decided to build Nokron, a framework that would replicate the architecture of ASP.NET, but with the power of Typescript.
How to get started?
To get started, you can check out the Getting Started page. There you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to create your first Nokron application along with advanced in-depth API reference for the framework.
What's next?
I'm currently working on a few new features for Nokron, including:
- A new CLI tool for creating new Nokron projects
- A new plugin system for adding new features to Nokron
- A new plugin for adding support for TypeORM
- A new plugin for adding support for GraphQL
- Much more!
I hope you enjoy Nokron as much as I do, and I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback!
Finally, here's a picture of a cat:
